PSR Graduate Program
Professional Services Review administers the Professional Services Review Scheme to investigate Medicare-referred cases of possible inappropriate practice relating to Medicare, the CDBS and the PBS. Professional Services Review protects patients and the community from the risks associated with inappropriate practice and protects the Commonwealth from having to meet the cost of medical / health services provided as a result of inappropriate practice.

Your year as a graduate
Our 11-month development program will provide you with:
- a thorough induction to ensure you are equipped to begin your program

- structured and customised learning and development opportunities, including practical legal training (if eligible).

Salary and superannuation
If your application is successful, you will be engaged as a graduate at the APS 4 level, or Legal APS 4 level if in the legal stream, plus 15.4% superannuation.
If you successfully complete the graduate program, you will advance to an APS 5 level, or Legal APS 5 level if in the legal stream, plus 15.4% superannuation.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP), you must:
- be an Australian citizen at the time of application
- if applying through the legal stream:
- have completed, or be completing, a Bachelor of Laws or a Juris Doctor between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2025.
- must be admitted as a lawyer or willing to complete your Practical Legal Training (PLT) during your graduate year.
- if applying through the generalist stream:
- have completed at least an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor degree) or higher equivalent, or will have completed it by 31 December 2025
- have completed your most recent eligible qualification between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2025
- satisfy pre-employment checks.
